Extract from Article 5 BTBA Articles of Association

'Any person desiring to become a member of the Association shall make application to the BTBA in such form as the Council shall require, and shall forward therewith such subscription as may be required by the council pursuant to Article 6. All such applications shall be subject to the election of the applicants by the Council and shall be deemed an acceptance of the memorandum and Articles of Association, and its Bye-laws, and Rules for the time being in force. The Council may in its absolute discretion and without assigning any reason thereof, refuse any application for membership or for renewal of membership.'
