The search is on for an exceptional, dynamic individual who will lead the British Tenpin Bowling Association (BTBA) through a programme of strategic development and restructure.
The BTBA is the National Governing Body for the sport of tenpin bowling in England and is looking for an inspirational leader with determination and integrity who will bring financial sustainability and growth to our sport. It aims to work in partnership with the wider bowling family to create a vibrant, safe and progressive sport, embracing bowlers of all abilities and from all communities, to grow the next generation of bowling champions.
This role includes working with Area Associations, affiliated youth bowling clubs, officials and coaches as well as building effective partnerships with all major stakeholders especially Tenpin Bowling Proprietors Association (TBPA), the Sports and Recreation Alliance and Sport England.

Lead and manage the development of the vision, strategy and policies, in collaboration with the Chairman and National Council (NC).
Represent and champion tenpin bowling at the highest level by being its advocate and ambassador for the sport at local and regional level.
Support and signpost the NC in its responsibilities for the governance of the organisation, its financial stability and the most appropriate use of funds with a key focus on increased participation and membership.
Commitment to the organisation’s identity, purpose and values and to the sport in general.
Understanding of the purposes of corporate governance and management within a National Governing Body and frameworks for assurance and accountability.
