I am very happy to welcome Stuart Watson to the Senior Coaching Team in the capacity of Regional Coaching Manager (South), in place of Mark Cox who sadly had to step down from the role in December.  During the application process Stuart displayed his passion for coaching and is aligned in his thinking to the vision in our coaching strategy.

Gill Hutchison - "Sleep Tight and Thank you"

The Chairman, National Council and Head Office Staff were shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Gill Hutchison.  Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with Al and Fiona at this dreadful time in their lives.  Colin Laing remembers a much loved friend, teacher, writer, artist, coach and all-round 'bowling mum' - click here..

Women's World Bowling Championships 2015

KEIRA Battles in The Masters as WWC Draws to its conclusion

As is the tradition, the Masters was bowled on dual-lane conditions - the long left and short right - and the top-24 would become the top-eight after six games in Step 1. Keira continued to bowl well but the scoring pace of her last few days was not as sharp, and she would finish in 24th place, on 6404 for the Championships. With an opening 300-game, her second of the Championships following her first in the team, Liz Johnson headed the cut to the top-eight. The finals would see Korea's Dawun Jung defeat Liz 256-183 to be crowned Master Champion for 2015.
